Well, we did it. We pulled off another camp. And, as always, it was definitely by the grace of God that we were able to do it. This is our 5th year of doing FREE camps for orphanages here in Brazil. And it’s only through our generous supporters back in the States that we're able to do it.
So, if at any time over the last 5 years, you've either given financial support, came on a mission trip or taken the time to pray for us- it’s because of you that we were able to do what we’ve done. So thank you!
As with all our camps, the proclamation of the Gospel is the always the main focus. Sure, we have a full schedule of fun activities planned throughout the weekend, but giving the kids the thing that can truly transform their lives (the Gospel) is always our end goal. There’s great food, great music, fun videos, exciting games and all kinds of ‘jungle stuff’ that the kids get to experience- but, in the back of our minds, having them hear about the love of God through Christ is what it’s all about. And this weekend was no different.
